AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71-21
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, BY PRO-
VIDING A REVISED FEE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO
AN APPLICATION FOR REZONING: BY MAKING
REFERENCE TO TAMARAC'S CITY CODE; PROVID-
ING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING LAWS IN
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has conducted an investigation as to the costs of processing
applications for rezoning, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has conversed with the Zoning Commission with respect to said
application process and the costs thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has determined the necessity for revising the Fee Schedule applicable
to applications for rezoning,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-21 of the City
of Tamarac, the same being Section 28-25(b) of Chapter 28 of the
Tamarac City Code, is hereby amended as follows:
Such applications shall be accompanied by a fee
of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), which
fee shall not be refundable.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or
word, be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be in-
valid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the remainder
hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared
to be invalid.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance becomes effective immediately
upon its final passage.
