HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Ordinance O-1975-014This Ordinance Submitted By: e__(VS• CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 74-31 OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING AN EXAM- INATION FEE; MAKING REFERENCE TO TAMARAC CITY CODE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. FOM WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, has conducted an investigation with respect to the process of the examination of the Impact Analysis Reports required pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 74--31 of the City of Tamarac, Florida, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, has determined by its investigation that the examination of said Impact Analysis Reports requires an expenditure of public funds, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, has determined that it would be in the best interests of the municipality to require a fee of those submitting an Impact Analysis Report in order to lessen the financial burden on the municipality, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 74-31 of the City of Tamarac, Florida, the same being Chapter 13 - Impact Analyses For Plat Approval, Residential Rezoning, Etc. - of the Tamarac City Code, is hereby amended by the addition of the following section: IMPACT ANALYSIS REPORT EXAMINATION FEE: All persons and/or entities required to submit an Impact Analysis Report under the provisions of Ordinance No. 74-31 of the City of Tamarac, Florida shall pay a fee of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) to satisfy the cost of the examination of such Impact Analysis Report, which examination fee shall be non-refundable. Ll SECTION 2: All ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word, be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid. aj SECTION 4: This Ordinance become effective immediately upon its final passage. MAYORAL P R O C L AMA T ION WHEREAS, the American Legion Auxiliary adopted the Poppy as its Memorial Flower as a tribute to the war dead, and WHEREAS, the American Legion Auxiliary aids the living veterans and their respective families and uses the contributions obtained from the sale of Poppies for the rehabilitation and support of the families of said war dead in our local community, NOW, THEREFORE, I, DWIGHT E. JOHNSON, Mayor of the City of Tamarac, Florida, do hereby proclaim the month of May, 1975, as Poppy Month and the days of May 23rd and May 24th, 1975, as Poppy Days in the City of Tamarac, Florida, and do, thus, urge each and every citizen of this community to recognize said month and days as commemorative of the great sacrifices paid by patri- otic Americans to secure and protect the freedom of all,,,6i the citizens of the United States merica/. i 1, SEAL)
