CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
I -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, SECTION
7-7, OF THE TAMARAC CITY CODE; AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 73-112, SECTION 3, OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC BY SUBSTITUTING WORD
"MEETING" FOR THE WORD "HEARING"; PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL LAWS IN
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Flordia, has upon investigation and inquiry determined that
a scrivener's error was made in the drafting of Ordinance
No. 73-112, Section 3, passed on third reading on the 27th
day of December, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, did codify said Ordinance No. 73-112, including
Section 3 thereof, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 73-112, Section 3, is now
Section 7-7 of Chapter 7 of the Tamarac City Code, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
is desirous of curing a scrivener's error as reflected in
Ordinance No. 73-112, Section 3, and Section 7-7 of Chapter
7 of the Tamarac City Code,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: Chapter 7, Section 7-7 of the Tamarac
City Code, which Section 7-7 was previously embodied in Ordinance
No. 73-1.12, at Section 3 thereof, is hereby amended as follows:
Sec. 7-7. Recommendation of planning commission; approval
by council; posting.
The planning commission shall consider the site
plan at a public meeting and shall thereupon
recommend to the city council approval or dis-
approval of such site plan. Not less than seven
calendar days prior to the site plan coming before

the city council at a public meeting, the
site plan shall be posted on the bulletin
board in city hall, in order that the public
may have the opportunity to review the site plan,
and call to the attention of the city council
at the public meeting, the violation of any
city ordinance by the site plan.
Section 2: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 3: This Ordinance becomes effective immediately
upon its final passage.
