AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27-17
OF THE TAMARAC CITY CODE BY AMENDING
EXHIBIT "A" REFERRED TO IN SAID
SECTION CONCERNING THE AMOUNT OF DE-
POSIT REQUIRED FOR METER SERVICE,
TOGETHER WITH A SCHEDULE FOR HOOK-UP
CHARGES; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT
OF SECTION 27-18 OF THE TAMARAC CITY
CODE BY AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF CHARGES
SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT "B" REFERRED TO
IN SAID SECTION; PROVIDING FOR THE AM-
ENDMENT OF SECTION 27-19 BY AMENDING
THE RATES FOR SEWER CHARGES SET FORTH
THEREIN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida did amend the utility budget fiscal year 1975-1976
pursuant to public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 27-17 of the Tamarac City Code
is amended to read as follows:
"Section 27-17. Deposit for metered service.
Each nonresidential consumer, at the time
of obtaining metered service, shall place
with the City a deposit, pursuant to the
schedule indicated upon Exhibit "A", on file
at the office of the City Clerk, to act as
security for payment of bills. Such deposit
shall be refundable upon the termination of
water service and the full payment of all
outstanding bills. Each nonresidential con-
sumer shall pay a hook --up charge in accordance
with Exhibit "A", as aforesaid, said Exhibit
"A" is attached to this Ordinance and made a
part hereof.
SECTION 2: Section 27-18 of the Tamarac City Code
is hereby amended as follows:
"Section 27-18. Rates generally.
Water rates for individual nonresidential
consumers shall be in those amounts on a
gallonage basis per month as indicated upon
Exhibit "B", on file in the office of the City
Clerk. A copy of said Exhibit is attached to
this Ordinance and labeled Exhibit "B"."

SECTION 3: Section 27-19 (sub -paragraphs F,G and H) of the
Tamarac City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 27-19. Generally.
(f) For municipal and commercial service, unless
otherwise specified, the charges shall be as follows:

METER SIZE MINIMUM ONLY 5 8" & 3 4"

SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any protion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not effect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than
the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such con-
flict.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
