CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE PAYMENT
OF RECORDING FEES FOR ALL DOCUMENTS
SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA WHICH REQUIRE RECORDATION
IN THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF BROWARD
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONCURRENT WITH
SUBMISSION OF SAID DOCUMENTS; PRO-
VIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING
ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has been informed by the Clerk of the City of
Tamarac, Florida that there are numerous documents that
must be recorded by her office pursuant to ordinance or
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, is of the opinion that it is in the best interest
of the citizens of the City of Tamarac, Florida that all
fees incident to the recording of documents submitted to
the City of Tamarac, Florida be paid by the party submitting
said document for recordation;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Any person, firm, corporation, or
association that is required to submit or has cause to
submit a document or documents to the City of Tamarac, Florida,
which pursuant to City ordinances or resolutions require
recordation in the Official Records of Broward County,
Florida, shall concurrent with submission pay a recording
fee to cover the cost of said recordation.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.

SECTION 3: Should any section or provision
of this ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph,
sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any
part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4: This ordinance becomes effective
immediately upon its final passage.
