CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. #077-7
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE #75-46
IN ITS ENTIRETY WHICH PROVIDES FOR A
DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac adopted
Ordinance No. #75-46, effective December 23, 1975, providing for
a Deferred Compensation Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to repeal the
Ordinance which provides for the Deferred Compensation Plan.
WHEREAS, the Council deems it necessary to enact this Ordin-
ance under the emergency provisions of Florida Statute 166.041(b)
in order to qualify by the prescribed date for certain reimburse-
ments from the State of Florida which will effect a savings of
City revenues and thereby benefit the citizens of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. #75-46 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 2: That the Council declares the enactment of this
Ordinance by March 1, 1977, an emergency under Florida Statute
166.041(b) in order to qualify for certain reimbursements from the
State of Florida which will effect a savings of City revenues and
thereby will benefit the citizens of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
