CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. a - 7 -2
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION
OF BINGO WITHIN THE CITY OF TAMARAC; PRO-
VIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL LAWS
IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE 'DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has
become concerned with the need to regulate Bingo games within the
City of Tamarac and establish a policy with respect to such
regulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:
Except as regulated by the State of Florida
by general or special acts of the legislature, Bingo games in the
City of Tamarac shall not be regulated except by Ordinances properly
adopted by the said City of Tamarac.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion hereof, or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof
as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
