CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. L
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 75-17
SECTION 1, WHICH REQUIRES THE SUBMISSION OF
A SEALED SURVEY PURSUANT TO AN APPLICATION
FOR A BUILDING PERMIT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 1, of Ordinance No. 75-17, which
requires the submission of a sealed survey pursuant to an
application for a building permit shall be amended to read as
follows:
SECTION 1: Application for permit for new con-
struction and addititions, alterations and/or repairs,
shall be accompanied by a Registered Land Surveyor's Cer-
tificate and plan in duplicate on which shall be clearly
indicated the property corner stakes, property line,
dimensions, any existing structures and their location,
existing right-of-way, sidewalks, easements. On new
construction and additions, the elevation of the first
floor shall be shown in relation to mean sea level.
The Building Official may waive the requirements for such
survey when property line stakes are existing and known to
be in place, and the work involved is minor and/or is
clearly within the building setback lines.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
