AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE 75-31;PRO-
VIDING THAT THE COUNCIL ADOPT A SCHEDULE OF
BUILDING PERMIT FEES BY RESOLUTION; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida pursuant to its power to regulate the zoning and building
within its boundaries, deems it necessary to provide for a schedule
of building permit fees which will be flexible enough to adapt to
the changing conditions of the building industry.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
feels it is their duty to•review and change fees and categories from
time to time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 75-31 of the City of
Tamarac, Florida be and it is expressly hereby repealed, as of
the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 2: That the Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida shall have the power and the duty to review, alter, add
to, modify, deduct from or in any other way change any fees or any
categories on any schedule of building permit fees in existence or
to be in existence by a resolution adopted by the Council of the
City of Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 3: That the Building Department of the City
of Tamarac be and it hereby is instructed to collect the fees as
established by resolution by the Council of the City of Tamarac,
for the obtaining of certain structural, plumbing, electrical,

zoning, and various other permits required to be issued prior to
initiation of construction, development or other improvements.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of
this ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof other than the part
declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same hereby repealed, as of the
effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
