CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. - 7 %' 3P
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES 73-40, 73-113
AND 77-4, WHICH PROVIDE FOR THE DAYS AND TIMES
FOR "REGULAR MEETINGS" OF THE CITY COUNCIL;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinances 73-40, 73-113 and 77-4 provide for
the day and time the regular meetings of the City Council are
to be held and commenced, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to change
the days on which their regular monthly meetings will be held
in order to coordinate projects referred to Council by the
Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinances 73-40, 73-113 and 77-4 are
hereby amended to read as follows:
City Council Regular Meetinnas
A regular meeting of the City Council shall be
held on the second Wednesday of each month at
10:00 A.M.
A second meeting of the City Council shall be
held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at
10:00 A.M.
Should a regular meeting date fall on a legal
holiday, the meeting shall automatically be
reset to the following day of that month.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to change the
beginning time of the Regular City Council
Meetings when he deems necessary with reasonable
notice.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 3: The provisions of this ordinance shall become
effective on January 1, 1978.
