CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0 - 78-34
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13A-2 OF THE TAMARAC
CITY CODE WHICH PERTAINS TO IRRIGATION SYSTEMS BY
ADDING TO SUBSECTIONS (f) AND (g) AUTHORIZATION
FOR IRRIGATION PLANS TO BE CERTIFIED BY AN
ARCHITECT OR A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF
INVALID PROVISIONS; PROVIDING A REPEALER; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 13A-2 of the Tamarac City Code is
amended by inserting the new language in underscored type below as
follows:
"SEC. 13A-2. Same - Contents.
The irrigation plan shall show the entire site to be irri-
gated along with.the following:
(a) Buildings and other site improvements.
(b) Proposed finished grade.
(c) Locations of proposed wells or connections to water
source.
(d) Sizes and locations of irrigation lines, valves and
other appurtenances.
(e) Legend showing proposed irrigation heads and their ex -
petted flow rates.
(f) Certification by the professional engineer, architect,
or Landscape Architect designing the system.
(g) Statement indicating if the engineer, architect, or
Landscape Architect will be inspecting the construction
or, if not, that he assumes no responsibility for the
construction in accordance with the plans."
SECTION 2: Authorization is hereby granted to codify this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this

Ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word
be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof
as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage at First and Second Reading.
