Ord. 538 1 2 3 4 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0 -],?-qO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS PARCEL R OF WESTWOOD COMMUNITY 7, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 81, PAGE 28 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY FLORIDA, (LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET WEST OF NW 104 AVENUE ALONG McNAB ROAD FROM R-lC TO S-1, PROVIDING FOR AMEND- MENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notices have been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing re- garding the zoning of the property described herein, and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #10-Z-78 by the City Council Pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-lC classifica- tion to S-1 classification. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. Temp. Ord. # 538 Page two 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. The provision in Section.28-25 of the City Code, which provides that zoning applications not acted upon within ten days of the public hearing thereon or within forty days of the public hearing if the Council, by its own motion, extends the time for an additional thirty days shall be deemed a denial of the application is found to be in conflict with this Ordinance and shall be deemed repealed for the purposes of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its final passage. PASSED FIRST READING this ��day of 1978.
