3 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2-15 OF .THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE WHICH P-varrBITS HOLDING
4 OF MORE THAN ONE OFFICE OR POSITION WITHIN
THE CITY'S SERVICE; PROVIDING FOR RATIFICATION;
5 PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR RE-
PEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF. INVALID
6 PROVISION; AND PROVIDING AN'EFFECTIVE DATE
7 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
8 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
9 SECTION 1: That Section 2-15 of the Tamarac City
10 Code is hereby repealed.
11 SECTION 2: That all acts which may have been in con-
12 flict with the former section 2-15 of the Tamarac City Code are
13 hereby ratified.
14 SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to
15 codify this Ordinance.
16 SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
17 conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
18 SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this
19 ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word
20 be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
21 such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof
22 as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared'to be
23 invalid.
24 SECTION 6: This ordinance shall become effective
25 immediately upon its final passage.
