CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0 -- 7d'- 6 6
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY, DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF PARCEL A
OF GLEN EAGLES, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 82,PAGE 14, OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA,
(IDENTIFIED AS A 25 FOOT EXTENSION TO THE N.E.
PORTION OF TANGLEWOOD'S PARCEL R-4, WHERE THE
MAIN RECREATION BUILDING IS SITUATED) FROM
R-4A to S--1; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EF-
FECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in ac-
cordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public
hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein and
the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice
and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been
heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #24-Z--78
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,j
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" at-
tached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-4A
to S-1 classi.ficati.on.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Tamarac shall, be changed to reflect this change in the zoning, said
changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together
with the effective date of this ordinance.

SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith.are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this ordinance l
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence.or word be
declared by a Court of competent ,jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as
a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be in-
valid.
SECTION '5: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final. passage.

recorded in Plat Book 82, Page 14, of the Public Records of Broward
County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
CO,L�iENCING at the most Northerly corner of Parcel R-4 as shown on the
said plat GLEN EAGLES; THENCE South 57400' 56" East, a distance of 107.31
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this description, the last described
course being coincident with the Northerly boundary of said Parcel R-4;
THENCE South 00' 00' 56" East, a distance of 83.77 feet; THENCE North
89°59' 04" East, a distance of 118.00 feet, the last two described courses
