2 ORDINANCE NO. �9 L
3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-5A OF THE TAMARAC
CITY CODE PERTAINING TO THE BOARD OF CONSUMER
4 AFFAIRS BY MODIFYING ITS MEMBERSHIP TO TWELVE (12)
MEMBERS WITH NO ALTERNATE MEMBERS; PROVIDING FOR
5 CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID PROVISIONS; AND PRO-
6 VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

8 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
9 FLORIDA:
10 SECTION l: That Section 2-5a.of the Tamarac City Code is
11 amended by inserting the words underscoredand deleting the words
12 struck through as follows:
13 Section 2-5a.Board of Consumer Affairs
14 (a) Creation, Membership There is hereby created and
iS established a Board of Consumer Affairs which shall be a permanent
i agency of the City and which shall consist of ne-less- hes- i�ee-�3}
ae-mete-�aaa-seer-��}-txetxbes-s�td-le-f5}-ele�ee-rne�e�s twelve
(12) members appointed by the Council and to serve at the pleasure
of the Council without compensation. The Board shall promulgate its
-j rules and order of procedure which shall comply with all applicable
1 laws.
22 SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to codity
23 this ordinance.
24 SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this OrdinancE
25 or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
26 by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision
27 shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or
28 any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
29 SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
30 herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
31 SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
32 upon its final passage.
