Ord.# I CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA 1 ORDINANCE NO.O- Q' 2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING 3 ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING 4 OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, DESCRIBED AS THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BLVD. S AND N.W. 31st. AVENUE; FROM R-lB TO B-2; B-1 to B-2 AND R-3 to B--2; PROVIDING FOR 6 AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORD- INANCES IN. CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE 8 DATE. 9 10 WHEREAS, pursuant to the instructirn of the City Council 11 of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given 12 in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place 13 of public hearing regarding the zoning of the property described 14 herein and the said public hearing has been held in accordance 15 with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity 16 to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and 17 investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received 18 the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of 19 Tamarac; and 20 WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #5-Z-79, 21 by the City Council, pursuant to the Charter. 22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 23 TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 24 SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" 25 attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from 26 R-1B to B-2, B-1 to B-2, and R-3 to B-2. 27 SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of 28 Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change in the zoning, 29 said changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, 30 together with the effective date of this Ordinance. 31 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict 32 herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. 33 KA 1 2 3 4 5 b 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 ]6 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
