AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE, REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM RD-7 TO S--1, DESCRIBED AS TRACT A, BLOCK 4,
WATERSIDE, PLAT BOOK 101, PAGE 22 (FURTHER IDENTI-
FIED AS BEING SITUATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF N.W.
61st STREFT AND SOUIEWEST OF TAMARAC UTILITY PLANT),
PROVIDING RE AMENDMIIVT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO
REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT" HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WiH,AS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the ap-
plicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of
the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in ac-
cordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and
has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for
the zoning herein and has received the reconmiendation of the Planning Commission
of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition ##4-Z--79, by the City
Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, =WTORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAT:'VMC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from RD-7 to S-1.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall
be changed to reflect this change in the zoning, said changes to be initialed
by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordi-
nance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a
Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect

the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall became effective immediately upon
its final passage.
