ORDINANCE NO. O - —,S
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 78-57 WHICH ESTABLISHED MONTHLY RESIDENTIAL
SEWER CHARGES BY MODIFYING SAID CHARGES AND IN
CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES INCREASING SAID CHARGES;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING REPEALER;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 78-57 is amended by '
adding the words, numerals and punctuation underscored and deleting the words, -
numerals and punctuation struck through as follows:
Section 2: Section 27-19 of the Tamarac City Code is
amended to read as follows:
27.19.1 Effective October 1, 19789, monthly residential
sewer charges shall be $7745 $7.00 per month: for the first 'Four
thousand gallons of water consumed and $.40 per month per each
additional 1,000 gallons of water consumed up to 8,000 gallons.
The maximum monthly sewer charqe for a residential customer shall
be $8.60.
27.19.2 Effective October 1, 1978, monthly commercial
sewer rates shall be as set forth below:
WATER METER SIZE
5/8" and 3/4"---$6.50 for the first 3,000 gallons of water
consumed and $1,28 per 1,000 gallons'of water
consumed in excess of 3,000 gallons.
1"---$17.25 for the first 8,000 gallons of water
consumed and $1.28 per 1,000 gallons of water
consumed in excess of,9,000 gallons.
1�2---$32.50 for the first 15,000 gallons of water
consumed and $1.28 per 1,000 gjallons of water
consumed in excess of 15,000 gallons.

---$52.00 for the first 24,000 gallons of water
consumed and $1.28 per 1,000 gallons of water
consumed in excess of 24,000 gallons.

---$195.00 for the first 90,000 gallons of water
consumed and $1.28 per 1,000 gallons of water
consumed in exces of 90,000 gallons.

SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this ordinance
or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a
court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than
the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective upon its
final passage.
