BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 24-3 of the Timnarac City Code is amended by adding the following definition which shall be inserted within that Section in the appropriate place so that all definitions shall continue to be in alphabetical order: Swale: A slope, hollow or depression in land creating a drainage channel for directing flow of storm water runoff. SECTION 2: Section 24-23(a)(2) of the Tamarac City Code is hereby amended by adding the words, numerals and punctuation underscored, and by deleting the words, numerals and punctuation struck through as follows: 33 ordinance. 34 3'5 36 Sec. 24-23. Street Lighting (a) System Required. SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this M 1 SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- 2 with are repealed to the extent of such conflict. 3 1SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this ordinance or any 4 paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be 5 invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
