ORDINANCE NO.
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-1.7(a)
OF THE TAMARAC CITY CODE PERTAINING TO
ERECTION OF UTILITY SHEDS IN RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICTS BY MODIFYING LANGUAGE CONCERNING
THE BOLTING DOWN OF SUCH SHEDS; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING REPEALER;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID
PROVIDIONS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 7-1.7 of the Tamarac City Code is amended by adding the words,
numerals and punctuation underscored, and by deleting the words, numerals and
punctuation struck through as follows:
SECTION 1: 7-1.7 Erection of Utility Sheds in Residential Districts.
(a) Permit Required. Utility sheds may be permitted
providing that they are-belted-dewm-en-a-4-'-eeneeret-s4ab-te-w4thstanO-tAe-w4ed
ye4ee 4y-meet the standards set forth as per Chapter 2306.4 of the South Florida
Building Code, 4977 latest Broward Edition, also provided that such utility shed
is not placed in any required setback. A building permit shall be required in any
residential district of the City.
SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any
portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared
to be invalid.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
final passage.
