CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-83 - 5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 22--8.1(b) OF THE
CITY CODE AND ORDINANCE 0-83-6 ESTABLISHING
REASONABLE HOURS FOR SOLICITATION OR CANVASSING
ENLARGING THE 10:00 A.M. THROUGH 4:00 P.M. PRE-
VIOUSLY SET; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING
REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID
PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,

SECTION 1: That Section 22-8.1(b) of the City Code as
established by Ordinance 0-83-6 is hereby Amended as follows:
. "(b) Hours:
Licensed solicitation
or canvassing
in the City are limited
from
9:00 A.M. to 4-.O -P-M=
6:00 P.M."
SECTION 2: That in all other respects Ordinance 0-83-6 is
ratified and unchanged.
SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this
Ordinance.
SECTION 4: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
