No. 1057 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0-83-00- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM B-6 (BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO B-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS) IDENTIFIED AS PARCELS "A" AND "B", PORTIONS OF TRACT 17, FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION, LAND SECTION 4, TOWNSHIP 49 SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 4, PAGE 31 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (OTHERWISE IDENTIFIED AS THAT LAND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF -MCNAB ROAD AND UNIVERSITY DRIVE __=NDIN.G-_MRTHWARD__.ALOTdG.. Ul\nVY-P.SITY _ DRIVE FOR 660 FEET AND WESTWARD ALONG MCNAB ROAD FOR 660 FEET, LESS THE CORNER PARCEL OCCUPIED BY UNITED FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION;)PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONITdG MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDI".NG FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regar ing the zoning of the property described herein and the said public heari g has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #30-Z-82 the City Council, pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from B-6 to B-1. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialE by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
