CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. D ,F3- v
AN ORDINANCE CREATING ARTICLE V, SECTION 2-30
OF THE CITY CODE; PROVIDING FOR ALL PERSONS
APPOINTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL TO SERVE ON
ADVISORY BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS TO
BE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OR BE THE OWNER OR
PRINCIPAL OPERATOR OF A BUSINESS LOCATED IN THE
CITY OR THE SPOUSE OF SUCH OWNER OR OPERATOR
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING REPEALER;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECT VE_ DATB-- .
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish guide --
lines for the existing and future advisory boards, committees
and commissions to which it makes appointments; and,
WHEREAS, the persons sought by the City Council are
those who have a commitment to the community and are willing
to live with the decisions or recommendations they make.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Article V, Section 2--30 of the City
Code are hereby created to provide as follows:

SECTION -2: That specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.

That should any section or provision of
this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph,
sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent juris-
diction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part
hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: 'That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final, passage.
