WHEREAS, the City's Charter Board and Council have suggested amendments to various provisions in the City Charter; and WHEREAS, hearings have been conducted concerning the Charter amendments by both the City Council and by the Charter Board. 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1 THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: 2 3 SECTION ---I: That the following proposed amendments are 4 to be presented to the electorate of the City of Tamarac at 5 its March 13, 1984 election and if any of the following proposed amendments are approved by a majority of the electorate at said election the approved proposed amendments 8 shall become amendments to the City Charter: 9 10 F RST_FMPOSED__AMENDMENT: An amendment providing that 11 the elected officials of the City (Mayor, Councilmembers 12 and Charter Board Members) may only be elected to any 13 particular office for two (2) consecutive terms 14 (totalling four (4) years).
