AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,

AMENDING CHAPTER 23, ARTICLE III CONSTRUCTION,
MAINTENANCE, ETC., OF SIDEWALKS BY ADDING A
NEW SECTION 23-29, BIKEWAY REQUIREMENTS, GENERALLY;
PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac has deter-

mined that it would be in the best interest of the citizens
11
to provide safe access for bikes and other non -motorized
12
vehicles along major roadway thoroughfares.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
14
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That Chapter 23, Article III, CONSTRUC-
16
TION; MAINTENANCE, ETC., OF SIDEWALKS shall be amended by
17
adding a new section to provide as follows:

SEC:TTON 2- All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict:
iSECTrON _ Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or
word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.

to codify this Ordinance.

immediately upon its final passage.
