CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PROVIDING
_FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R-3U (LOW
DENSITY MULTIPLE DWELLINGS) TO S-1 (OPEN SPACE/RECREATIONAL)
LANDS BEING A PORTION OF TRACT 74, WOODMONT 74 AND 75, RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 108, PAGE 39 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD
COUNTY, FLORIDA (OTHERWISE IDENTIFIED AS BEING RECREATION AREA #2
FOR WESTWOODS OF BONAIRE ON THE EAST SIDE OF NW 80 AVENUE BETWEEN
NW 78 STREET AND NW 75 STREET); PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, puhdic notice has been given in accordalice
with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding
the zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearilig
has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been
given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has
examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has
received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #21-Z-83 b
the City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-3U to S-1.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamara
shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialEd
by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the.effective date of
this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

in Plat Book 108, Page 39 of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the West Boundary of said Tract 74, said point being the
Point of Tangency of a Tangent curve with 25 foot radius in the Northwest corner of
said Tract 74; Thence along said West boundary, South 210 00' 00" West, 489.70 feet
to the Point of Curvature of a curve concave to the Southeast and having a radius of
1870.00 feet; Thence Southwesterly along said curve for 245.45 feet through a central
angle of 070 31' 14" to the Point of Beginning; Thence South 770 39' 03" East for
145,00 feet; Thence South 120 20' 57" West for 67,88 feet; Thence South 870 51' 31"
West for 148.85 feet to a Point on a Nontangent curve concave to the Southeast and
having a radius of 1870,00 feet and being the Easterly Right -of -Way line of
