AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PRO-VIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM
6 B-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS) TO B-2 (PLANNED BUSINESS);
IDENTIFIED AS BEING LOT "A", LAKESIDE AT TAMARAC,
1ECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 115, PAGE 32, OF THE PUBLIC
7 RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (LOCATED ON THE WEST
SIDE OF STATE ROAD 7, AT 5401--5483 NORTH STATE ROAD 7);
$ PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL YONING-= TO
REFLECT SUCH CHANGE? PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
9 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

12 WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
13 he City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance
14 ith the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardin
15 1he zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing
16 fas been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been
17 iven an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has
1$ xamined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has
19 eceived the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
20 Vamarac; and
21 WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 6-Z-84 by
22 he City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
23 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
24 rAMARAC, FLORIDA:
25 SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
26 iereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from B-1 to B-2.
27 SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
28 hall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed
29 y the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of

is Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
th are hereby repealed to the extent of.such conflict.

SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance

r any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared

y a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision

hall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or

ny part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.

SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
6
pan its final passage.
