ORDINANCE NO. 0- L3
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM R-4A (PLANNED APARTMENTS) TO S-1 (RECREATION/
OPEN SPACE), SAID LANDS BEING A PORTION OF "SABAL PALM TOWN-
HOUSE), ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 107,
PAGE 21, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA
7 (OTHERWISE IDENTIFIED AS THOSE LANDS ON THE WEST SIDE OF
NW 46 AVENUE AND NORTH OF NW 59 STREET); PROVIDING FOR
8 AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY• PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of

he City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance
12
ith the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardinc.

he zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing

as been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been

liven an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has
16
xamined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has
17
eceived the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
18
marac; and

WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 11-Z-84 by
20
e City Council, pursuant to the Charter.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
22
RAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
24
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-4A to S-1.
25
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
26
all be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed
27 by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of
28 is Ordinance.
29 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
30 rewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
1 r any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
2 y a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision
3 hall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or
4 ny part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
5 SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
6 Jpon its final passage.
