No . 1016 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R-IB (SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-4A (APARTMENTS) IDENTIFIED AS THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF PARCEL "P" OF "LYONS INDUSTRIAL PARK" PLAT AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 71, PAGE 1 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA; OTHERWISE IDENTIFIED AS THE ISLAND WEST OF TAMARAC CITY HALL, SOUTH OF PARADISE ESTATES, EAST OF NW 94 AVENUE AND NORTH OF TAMARAC JE1+ISH CENTER AND BROWARD NEIGHBORS; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the•City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordan with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regard the zoning of the property described herein and the said public herrin has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 21-Z-82 the City.Council, pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby r600ned from R-1 B to R-4A. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initiale by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. ce W 1 SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance 2 or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declAre 3 by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
