CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-84-
AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING THE RATES OF THE AMERICAN
CABLESYSTEMS OF FLORIDA CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, American Cablesystems of Florida has petitioned the City of Tamarac
for a rate adjustment to its Cable Television franchise agreement; and
tiIII.ERAS, the City Council has held a public hearing, heard input from the
public and the petitioner, and considered the proposed adjustments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 25, 1984, deemed it in the best interest
of the City to grant the rate adjustment for a period of six (6) months; and
WHEREAS, American. Cablesystems of Florida has progressed satisfactorily in
the upgraded service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of granting a rate adjustment to
American Cablesystems for a period of one and one-half years, until June 1, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT ORDAINED BY TIDE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF TA ARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the "Proposed Adjustments Installation. and Service" listed
on ATTACI:MENT I, attached hereto and amending Ordinance 0-79-52 as indicated on said
exhibit are hereby approved.
SECTIOIN, 2: That the monthly rates provided in Ordirance 0-82-26 are hereby
amended to provide as follows:

SECTION 3: That the proposed premium service rates are hereby amended as
indicated on ATTACHMENT II, attached hereto.
SECTION 4: That there shall be no other rate increases instituted by
American Cablesystems of Florida or its successor (if any), or granted by the City
Council before June 1, 1986.
SECTION 5: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
