CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING COMMITTEES ESTABLISH-
ING ARTICLES V AND VI OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE; REORGANIZING THE
CODIFICATION OF CITY COMMITTEES; CREATING
GENERAL PROCEDURAL RULES FOR CITY COMMITTEES;
REPEALING RESOLUTIONS 83--108 AND 83-298
(REGARDING THE INVESTMENT ADVISORY
COMMITTEE); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. __ ----- - ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac desires
to reorganize the codification of City committees and provide
for general procedural rules for City committees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION -1: That Article V of Chapter 2 of the Tamarac
City Code is hereby created and the following committees are
hereby reassigned the following code sections without
substantive changes:

as amended by Ord. 84-26, is hereby recodified as Sec. 2-61
(Absenteeism of Appointees).

hereby created to provide as follows:

SECTION __5: Repealer. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict. Resolutions 83-108 (Investment
Advisory Committee Established) and 83-298 (Investment Ad
visory Committee Amended) are also repealed.
SECTION -6: Severability. Should any section or
provision of this ordinance or any portion hereof or any
paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any
part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
SBCT.OV_7.: Codification. Specific authority is hereby
granted to codify this ordinance.
BECUDN_8: Effective date. This ordinance shall become
effective upon adoption. The provisions of this
ordinance shall not prevent any committee member from
completing his term of appointment which is being served on
the effective date of this ordinance.
