No. 1116 1 1 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 is 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0- 84- J/ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM S--1 (OPEN SPACE/RECREATTONAL) TO T--1 (INSTITUTIONAL/EDUCATIONAL); LANDS DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 49 SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST, OF FLORIDA FRUIT LANDS COMPANY SUBDIVISION NO. 2, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK_1, PAGE OFTHE OTHE PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA (OTHERWISE IDENTIFIED AS BEING THE CTTY-OWNED LANDS ON THE WEST SIDE OF NW 88 AVENUE AT NW 75 STREET, ALSO KNOWN AS TRACT 38-A); PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVTDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordanc with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardi the zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 30-Z-84 by the City Council, pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from S-1 to 1-1. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordin',-,' SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. 0 1 1 P-J 1 2 31 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 is 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 SECTION 4: Should'any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
