AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2=31 OF THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE; ABOLISHING THE SISTER CITY
ADVISORY COMMITTEE; AMENDING SECTION 2-28 OF
THE TAMARAC CITY CODE; CREATING A POSITION OF
COMMISSIONER OF HUMAN RELATIONS WITHIN THE
WELCOMING COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABIL—
ITY OF INVALID PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

is hereby amended to provide as follows:
"Sec. 2-28. Welcoming Committee.
(a) Created. There is hereby created a welcoming
committee which shall be composed of at least five (5)
regular members.

Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the vzOidity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other t1lzlil
the part declared to be invalid.

codify this Ordinance.
5B This Ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its final passage.
