AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 27-36.1 OF THE

CITY CODE REGARDING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
WASTEWATER GRANT REVENUE GENERATION SYSTEM

REQUIREMENTS FOR TAMARAC UTILITIES EAST;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING A

REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF
INVALID PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-

WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has a need to expand its

wastewater treatment plant facilities; and

WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is desirous of obtaining
13
State of Florida Department of Environmental Regulation
14
construction grant funding; and
15
WHEREAS, there are certain financial requirements
16
mandated by the State grant program.
17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
18
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECT D"-. Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
.SZgT1D1L_A: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
SECTIQN�5: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
