ORDINANCE NO. 0-85-z�(_
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 28-194.1 OF
THE TAMARAC CITY CODE (ORDINANCE 0-84-72)
ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATIVE REDUCTIONS TO SET-
BACK AND YARD REQUIREMENTS"; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; PROVIDING A REPEALER; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAM-
ARAC, FLORIDA:
. That Section 28--194.1 of the Tamarac City
Code (Ordinance0--84-72) entitled "Administrative Reductions
to Setback and Yard Requirements" which is attached hereto as
Exhibit 1 is hereby repealed.
SECTION__2: Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
5EC=V__5: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its final approval.

AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 28-194.1 OF THE
CITY CODE PROVIDING FOR ADMINISTRATIVE REDUC-
TIONS TO SETBACK AND YARD REQUIREMENTS;
PROVIDING A PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION, PRO-
CESSING OF RULINGS, AND APPEALS; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY OF
INVALID PROVISIONS; PROVIDING REPEALER; AND
F,B VIDTNG AN EFFECTIVE DATE. -
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that self-imposed
routine reductions to setback and yard requirements for
single family residences are more efficiently provided for by
an application for staff review rather than by a more complex
zoning variance procedure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
That Sec.' 28-194.1 of the City Code is
hereby created to provide as follows:
