CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-85-321,_
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ANIMAL CLINICS (NO
BOARDING KENNELS FOR ANIMALS) WHICH ARE
PRESENTLY PERMITTED IN B--2 AND B-3 ZONING
DISTRICTS; AMENDING CHAPTER 28, ZONING,
SECTION 28--171 MASTER LIST OF BUSINESS USES,
BY PERMITTING SUCH CLINICS ALSO IN B5
(LIMITED BUSINESS) BY SPECIAL EXCEPTION AND
IN B-6 (BUSINESS) ZONING DISTRICTS; PROVIDING
A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,

adopted Chapter 28 of the City Code, entitled "Zoning"; and
13
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend a portion of
14
Section 28--171 (Master List of Business Uses) pertaining to
15
permitting animal clinics (no boarding kennels for animals)
16
in B-5 (Limited Business) and B-6 (Business) zoning dis-
17
tricts..

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

That Section 28-171 Master List of Business

Uses enumerated is hereby amended for the specific uses as

follows:

conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.

Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION__2: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
