CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12A-2 OF THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE BY SUBSTITUTING THE PROPER
CITATION TO THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE ADOPTED
BY REFERENCE; AMENDING SECTION 12A-3 OF THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE TO CONFORM TO THE APPLI-
CABLE BROWARD COUNTY CODE SECTION REGARDING
MINIMUM OUTDOOR SPACE PER CHILD REQUIRED IN
CHILD CARE FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR SEVER --
ABILITY OF INVALID PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
FUTIQN That Section 12A-2 of the Tamarac City Code
is hereby amended to provide as follows:
"Sec. 12A-2. Broward County regulations for the opera-
tion of child care centers adopted by reference.

hereby adopted by reference as part of this chapter."
,5_ECT1.QV 2: That Section 12A-3 of the Tamarac City Code
is hereby amended to provide as follows:
"Sec. 12A--3. Physical facilities.
No setback or yard area required by the zoning
ordinances of the City of Tamarac, shall be used as
usable area of outdoor space per child as defined in
section 1_713J, of the regulations for the
operation of child care centers in Broward County,
Florida, nor shall said yard or setback area be calcu-
lated to arrive at the necessary usable area of the
outdoor space per child as required in said section."
�T10N_3: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
