CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-85-Y__�V_
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18-5(13) OF THE
TAMARAC CITY CODE PROVIDING FOR MORE RESTRIC-
TIVE PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR INDOOR ATHLETIC
CLUBS AND GYMNASIUMS; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF
INVALID PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. _ _________
WHEREAS, the City Planner has found that athletic clubs,
and gymnasiums are generating heavy traffic in excess of the
City Code parking space requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City Planner and Planning Commission recom-
mends that the City Code be amended to require more parking
spaces for these facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SZ-C-T1Qkl-1: That Section 18-5(13)(b) of the Tamarac City
Code be amended to provide as follows:
"Sec. 18-5(13)(b). Athletic clubs and avmnasiums_,
indoors.

SECTT9�1�Z: Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
CTION 3: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as whole or any part hereof, other than
the part declared to be invalid.
SEC J&W_ 4: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
