No. 1244 1 11 1 1 2 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA 3 ORDINANCE NO. 0-86ZZ - 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PRO- VIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM R-3U (LOW -MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) TO S-1 (OPEN 6 SPACE/RECREATIONAL); LANDS DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF PARCEL "A" OF "BISHOP TRACT 31" PLAT, AS RECORDED IN 7 PLAT BOOK 120, PAGE 24, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF -COWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (OTHERWISE DESCRIBED AS THOSE 8 LANDS PROPOSED FOR THE RECREATION AREA FOR HIDDEN HARBOUR, LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF NW 88 AVENUE, 9 NORTH OF NW 77 STREET); PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PRO- 10 VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 11 WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of 12 he City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance 13 ]ith the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardin 14 he zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing 15 as been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been 16 iven an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has 17 amined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has 18 ceived the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of 19 marac; and 20 WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 1-Z-86 by 21 e City Council, pursuant to the Charter. 22 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAC, FLORIDA: 24 SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached 25h reto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-3U to S-1. 26 SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac 27s all be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed 28 b the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of 29 t is Ordinance. 30 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict 31 h rewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. 32 33 34 Q,, I 1 I 1 SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance 2 r any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared 3 y a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision 4 hall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or S Iny part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
