ORDINANCE NO. 0-86- -�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM
B--1 (NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS) TO B-6 (BUSINESS DIS-
TRICT) LANDS DESCRIBED AS TRACT 7 OF THE PLAT OF
FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS, SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 49
SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 4,
PAGE 31, OF THE RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY. FLORIDA
(OTHERWISE DESCRIBED AS TIIE LANDS ON THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD AND NW 47 TERRACE,
EXTENDING WESTWARD TO THE FLORIDA STATE TURNPIKE);
PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
e City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance
th the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardinc
e zoning of the..property described herein and the said public hearing
16 s been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been
17 iven an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has
YB xamined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has
lg eceived the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
20 amarac; and
21 WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 6-Z-86 by
22 he City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
24 AMARAC, FLORIDA:
25 SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
26 jereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from B-1 to B-6.
27 SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
28 hall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed
29 y the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of
30 [his Ordinance.
31 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
32 erewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

1 SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
2 r any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
3 y a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision
4 hall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or
5 ny part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
6 SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
7 pon-its final passage.
