AN ORDINANCE AME14DIlIG PRIOR ZONNING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM B--1 (NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS) TO I-1
INSTITUTIONAL/EDUCATIONAL).; PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS
TAMARAC UTILITIES PLAT ONE, PARCEL "A", AS RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 101, PAGE 47, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA;'OTHERWISE DESCRIBED AS
BEING TfIOSE LANDS OCCUPIED I3Y THE CITY OP TAMARAC,
UTILITIES WEST DIVISION, OPERATIONS AND TREATMENT
PLANTS, AT 7805 NW 61 STREET, TAMARAC; PROVIDING
FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT
SUCH CHANGE.; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordant
with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regardi g
the zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing
s been held in.accordance with the notice and the public has been
iven an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has
xamined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has
eceived the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
amarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 13-Z--86 by
e City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
C, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
iereto and made a part hereof are hereby re,zoned from B-1 to I•-l.
26 SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
27 hall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed
28y the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of

is Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
ewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be,declared
by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or
any part.hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
