ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 88-33 BY
ESTABLISHING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX
CLASSIFICATIONS AND FEES FOR NAIL
TECHNICIANS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
OF INVALID PROVISIONS; PROVIDING REPEALER;
AND PROVIDING Ail EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, Ordinance 88-33, Section 1, Schedule of License
Fees of the City of Tamarac, levies an occupational license
classification and fee on persons and entitles conducting
business or pursuing a profession in the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida has determined that a classification for Nail Techni-
cians and occupational license fees should be established;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow-
ing Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I : Section 1 of Ordinance 88-33 is amended to
read as follows:
Licenses shall be issued to cover only one location and
but one of the occupations of business classifications
hereinafter set out unless permitted hereunder and the
amounts assessed as license fees against the various trades,
businesses and professions are hereby fixed as follows:

SECTION 2 : Any and all businesses and occupations
licensed by the State Department of Professional Regulation
shall, prior to issuance of a local business license, produce
a current State Department of Professional License pursuant
to Chapter 85-278, Laws of Florida, as may be amended from
time to time.
SECTION 3 All Ordinancer'w.)r parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby re, aled to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4 Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or word be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part
hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
