ORDINANCE NO. 0-91 - A
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, DIVISION
3, CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, SECTION 2-106
TO INCREASE THE MEMBERSHIP FROM SEVEN (7)
MEMBERS TO NINE (9) MEMBERS AND TWO (2)
ALTERNATE MEMBERS, PROVIDING FOR CODIFICA-
TION: PROVIDING FOR REPEALER, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY1 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida finds that it is in the best interests of the welfare
of its citizens to increase the membership of the consumer
affairs committee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1 : Section 2-106 of the Tamarac City Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2-106. Creation
There is created and established a consumer affairs
committee which shall be a permanent agency of the City and
which shall consist of eevee-47} nine 9 members and d two
alternate members appointed by the City Council.
E CTION_ 2 : Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3 : All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4 : if any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect
i
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION 5 : This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
