CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-91---21
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF ORDI-
NANCES CHAPTER 24, "ZONING", ARTICLE II,
"ADMINISTRATION" DIVISION 3, "PLANNING
COMMISSION" BY REPEALING SECTION 24-61 IN
ITS ENTIRETY AND CREATING A NEW SECTION 24-
61 PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A PLANNING
COMMISSION CONSISTING OF SEVEN MEMBERS AND
TWO ALTERNATE MEMBERS WHO SHALL BE APPOINTED
WHEN POSSIBLE WITH EXPERIENCE IN SPECIFIC
WORK DISCIPLINES OR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT;
PROVIDING FOR THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE:
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION: PROVIDING FOR
REPEALER, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING -AN-EFFECTIVE--BATE------------------
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tamarac finds
that it would be in the best interests of the City to
increase the membership of the Planning Commission from five
(5) to seven (7) members and (2)-two alternate members who
may have experience in specific work disciplines or community
involvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION-1 Section 24-61 of the Tamarac Code of
Ordinances is hereby REPEALED .
SECTION-2 : A new section 24-61 of the Tamarac Code of
Ordinances is hereby added to read as follows:

SECTION-3 : Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION-4 s All ordinances or parts of Ordinances -in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conf 1 ict.
SECTION--5--: If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be. given affect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION--6---: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
