CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE No. 0--91-_2:,-y—
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
CREATING THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
SERVICES DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR FUNCTIONS,
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY OF -THE
DIRECTOR; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Chapter
166, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac determines
that it is in the public interest to establish a position of
Director of Public Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Tamarac is hereby amended by creating a new section of the Code to
be entitled "Director of Public Services Department," which
section is to read as follows:

Sect,i,oj2 2. Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance and Sections of this Ordinance may be
renumbered or relettered and the word "Ordinance" may be changed
to "Section", "Article", or other such appropriate word or phrase
in Order to accomplish such codification.
If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person, or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of this Ordinance that can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this

Ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section A. This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
