ORDINANCE NO. 0-92-]�
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE #86-25 WHICH CREATED
PLAN ADJUSTMENT COMMITTEE, CODIFIED AS
SECTION 24-81: "ESTABLISHMENT, MEMBERS";
SECTION 24-82: "JURISDICTION"; AND SECTION 24-
83: "PROCEDURES", BY AMENDING SECTION A TO ADD
A MEMBER FROM THE CITY'S PUBLIC WORKS
DIVISION, ADDING THE FIRE MARSHAL AS A MEMBER,
DESIGNATING THE CITY COUNCIL LIAISON AS AN EX
OFFICIO, NON -VOTING MEMBER; AND ADDING A
REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE BROWARD SHERIFF'S
OFFICE AS A NON -VOTING, EX OFFICIO MEMBER; BY
AMENDING SECTION B TO DELETE REFERENCE TO CITY
COUNCIL; BY AMENDING SECTION C DELETING
PROVISIONS REGARDING PROPOSED MINOR CHANGES,
CHANGING THE REFERENCE FROM 4 TO 5 MEMBERS
AND DELETING REFERENCE TO CITY COUNCIL;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR
REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
,p WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
finds that it is in the best interests of the City to re -structure the
membership of the Plan Adjustment Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 24-81 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Tamarac is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 24-81. Establishment; members.
A plan adjustment committee is hereby established, which
shall be composed of the following members:

(2) The city planner;
(3) The chief building official;

SECTION BB: The Plan Adjustment Committee shall have
jurisdiction to make minor adjustments to site plan design and
landscape approvals.
SECTIQU C: The procedures to be followed by the Plan
Adjustment Committee in considering an application for adjustment
to site plan design and landscape approval shall be as follows:

Committee shall review the
proposed
minor
adjustment
to the site plan. If all 4-44 LE)

of the
Committee
are in agreement, they shall sign
toe three
(3) copies of the
adjusted site plan, which shall
thereafter
serve
as an authorized revision to the plan.
SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this
Ordinance.
SECTIQN„ 4: All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 5: If any provision of this Ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance
that can be given affect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon adoption and passage.
