Ord. #1597 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO. 0-92,-_If AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 21, "SUBDIVISIONS", ARTICLE 1, "IN GENERAL" SECTION 21-1, "DEFINITIONS", BY ADDING PLOT PLAN; AND SECTION 21-3, "CONFORMANCE WITH CHAPTER GENERALLY; PLATTING PREREQUISITE TO ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT, CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY; WATER AND SEWER FACILITIES IN UNRECORDED SUBDIVISIONS." BY REVISING (A), PROVIDING FOR CONFORMANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN CHAPTER 10; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, finds that it is, in the best interests of the City to amend its platting procedures to be consistent and compatible with the County requirements; and WHEREAS, the City finds that the proposed amendments implement Goals, Objectives, and, Policies of the Future Land use Element of the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, this amendment implements streamlining of the City's platting process; and WHEREAS, the City finds that in the interest of the City of Tamarac to cross reference portions of Chapters 21 and 10 to implement concurrency review and platting procedures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: S?ction 1: Amends Section 21-1. SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this Ordinance. SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 5: If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable.
