ORDINANCE NO. 0-92- 4,'L
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "MOTOR
VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC", ARTICLE II, "STOPPING,
STANDING AND PARKING", BY ADDING.A NEW SECTION
14-39 ENTITLED "PROHIBITED PARKING AND DISPLAY
OF MOTOR VEHICLES, TRAILERS AND BOATS FOR
SALE", PROVIDING FOR DEFINITION OF MOTOR
VEHICLE; PROVIDING FOR PROHIBITION OF PARKING
OR DISPLAY OF MOTOR VEHICLES, TRAILERS AND
BOATS FOR SALE ON ANY PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY,
EASEMENT, SWALE OR OTHER PUBLIC OR NON -
EXCLUSIVELY PRIVATE AREA WITHIN THE CITY;
PROVIDING FOR PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION
IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has deemed
B it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the
City of Tamarac that Chapter 14 of the Tamarac Code of Ordinances,
C entitled "Motor Vehicles and Traffic", Article II, "Stopping,

Standing and Parking", be amended by adding a new Section 14-39
2 entitled "Prohibited Parking and Display of Motor Vehicles,
3 Trailers and Boats For Sale"; and
4 WHEREAS, the Tamarac City Council has determined that the
parking and display of motor vehicles, trailers and boats for sale

on either any public right-of-way or on any private property

invites criminal mischief as well as creates an eyesore and public

nuisance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION 1: Chapter 14 "Motor Vehicles and Traffic",
Article II, "Stopping, Standing and Parking" of the Tamarac City
Code is hereby amended by creating a new Section 14-39 to read as
follows:

SECT_ION2_._ All sections or parts of sections of the Code
of Ordinances, all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all
resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith, be and
the same, are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflicts.
,SECTION: If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications

of this Ordinance that can be given affect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION4, This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
