CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. o-93-
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 24 "ZONING" ARTICLE VI,
"ACCESSORY USES" BY ADDING SECTION 24-614 "SATELLITE
RECEIVING ANTENNA (SRAM; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITION;
PROVIDING FOR SINGLE FAMILY AND TWO FAMILY STANDARDS;
PROVIDING FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL AND MULTI -FAMILY
STANDARDS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac currently regulates the irnstallation of antennae and
aerials;
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac recognizes that satellite receiving antennas are
structures and therefore, require placement on a site plan and a building permit;
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac desires to allow the use of satellite receiving
antennas which meet or exceed the standards of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac can set minimum requirements for satellite receiving
antennas in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
SEMQNJ That Tamarac Land Development Code, Chapter 24 of the Tamarac City
Code, is hereby amended as follows:

SUMON 2; Specific authority is hereby granted tD Codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SFC 4: If any provision of this Ordir•ice or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other
provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect without the invalid
provisions or application, and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SFCMON 5; This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
