CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0-95-Z2=_
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 24-613(d)
OF THE CITY CODE ENTITLED TEMPORARY MODEL,
SALES AND ADMINISTRATIVE OR OPERATIONAL USES;
PROVIDING FOR SIX-MONTH RENEWALS
ADMINISTRATIVELY BY THE CITY CLERK; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 24-613(d) of the City Code governs temporary model, sales
and administrative or operational uses; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission approves all requests for such uses, including
waivers and terms and conditions associated with these requests; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that after the City Commission
approves the original requests, all subsequent renewals, including waivers, terms and
conditions, should be handled administratively by the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to be
in the public interest to adopt this ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIQN 1: That the foregoing whereas clauses are ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and hereby made a specific part of this Ordinance

upon adoption hereof.
SECTION 2: That the Tamarac Code of Ordinances is amended by
revising Section 24-613(d) as follows:
Sec. 24-613. Temporary model, sales and administrative or operational uses.
(d) The eeuneil commission shall have the right to provide such waivers,
terms and conditions as it shall, in its sole discretion, deem proper in granting
such temporary use for eithef the original six-month period
pefieds. All subsequent renewals.-includingrenewals.-including waivers, terms and conditions, shall

SECTION 3: All sections or parts of sections of the Code of Municipal
Ordinances, all ordinances or parts of ordinances, and all resolutions or parts of
resolutions in conflict herewith, be and the same, are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
SECTIOH_4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance, or any
paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof, as a whole or
a part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.

SECTION 5, It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of
Tamarac that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Tamarac and that the sections of this Ordinance may
be renumbered or relettered and the word "Ordinance" may be changed to "Chapter",
"Section", "Article", or such other appropriate word or phrase, the use of which shall
accomplish the intentions herein expressed.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and final adoption.
